I turned 36 this week - my first birthday as a mommy! Quite the milestone, don't you think? It was wonderful to celebrate my special day with Scott and Caroline and my mom. Caroline got her first taste of double chocolate birthday cake - I think she liked it??I received some very nice gifts, and some funny birthday cards. I thought the saying on this one was particularly funny: "Mom, You've always been a "mother hen," in the very best sense of those words. And me? I'm one grateful chick!"
